BlackBerry: Fiscal Q3 Earnings Snapshot

WATERLOO, Ontario (AP) _ BlackBerry Ltd. (BB) on Tuesday reported a fiscal third-quarter loss of $4 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Waterloo, Ontario-based company said it had a loss of 9 cents. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 5 cents per share.

The cybersecurity software and services company posted revenue of $169 million in the period.

In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company’s shares hit $4.15. A year ago, they were trading at $8.88.
