International buy-side focused Executive Search firm, HW Anderson, today announced the key promotions of Chris Macrae (Edinburgh) and Richard Duke (Dublin) to Managing Director.

Joining the business in 2014, Chris Macrae has built a stellar reputation across the commodities market as an advisor to leading hedge funds and energy trading floors. His expertise has enabled HW Anderson clients to launch and grow highly competitive European energy trading markets with best-in-class talent. Most recently a Director based in the Edinburgh office, Chris joined the firm after completing a Master of Arts in History at the University of Aberdeen.

Richard Duke joined HW Anderson in 2015 in Edinburgh. In addition to founding the firms European office in Dublin, Richard has played a central role in the creation of a quantitative trading, research and data practice that leads the market either side of the Atlantic. Richards ability to advise our clients on the rapidly evolving quant and data markets has allowed them to maintain and reinforce their competitive edge. Richard joined HW Anderson in 2015 following the completion of his Master’s Degree in Management Consultancy at UCD Michael Smurfit Business School, prior to which he studied Business at Trinity College, Dublin.
