Emcore: Fiscal Q4 Earnings Snapshot

ALHAMBRA, Calif. (AP) _ Emcore Corp. (EMKR) on Tuesday reported a fiscal fourth-quarter loss of $16.9 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Alhambra, California-based company said it had a loss of 45 cents. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 29 cents per share.

The maker of components for communications gear and solar panels posted revenue of $25.6 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $24.3 million, or 65 cents per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $124.1 million.

For the current quarter ending in December, Emcore said it expects revenue in the range of $25 million to $27 million.
