KELOWNA, BC / ACCESSWIRE / December 15, 2022 / TOTAL TELCOM INC. (TSX Venture:TTZ) announced today its wholly owned subsidiary ROM Communications Inc. has completed the design, development and is currently in production of a purpose built advanced Recreational Vehicle heating/water control system.

ROM has supplied nearly 4,000 proprietary WiFi heater control modules to RV manufacturers through a major US Supplier since 2020. These modules were integrated into existing RV control systems to provide advanced heater functions and diagnostic support. The value-added components resulted in a significant reduction in warranty related support and service requests.

The successful integration led to a memorandum of understanding “MOU” with the US Supplier for ROM to develop, supply and support a new “Smart” control system that would:

  • Accommodate the Industry RV-C Protocol.
  • Support Integration with various RV Systems & Manufacturers.
  • Provide Satellite Integration for Remote Diagnostics, Tracking, Safety & Connectivity.

The controller was developed over the last 18 months and will be phased in starting January 1, 2023. New controller revenues are expected to exceed $1 million annually plus complimentary sales of satellite modems and data plans. ROM is currently processing its first order worth $240,000 for immediate delivery.
